The purpose of this two-week pre-apprenticeship program, instructed by expert instructors and guest manufacturing trainers, is to train aspiring fire sprinkler technicians through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on applications. Participants will delve into the fundamental and advanced aspects of fire sprinkler systems, preparing them for successful careers in the field.

· Gain practical experience in using tools, adhering to safety protocols, and performing emergency response and first aid.

· Learn to read and interpret blueprints related to fire sprinkler systems.
· Practice the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
· Master advanced installation techniques, system testing, and troubleshooting.
· Prepare for career opportunities with resume crafting, interview skills, and networking strategies.

Week 2: Advanced Installation, Testing, and Career Preparation
Day 6: Basic Pipe Installation
Day 7: Anatomy of Sprinkler Systems, Compressors and Backflows

Day 10: CPVC Certification and Installation/Career Preparation
Additional Information
· Participants must sign a liability waiver on the first day.
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds is required.
· Attendees must dress appropriately for a workshop setting, including work shirts, pants, toe-protected boots, safety glasses, and work gloves.
· Lunch will be catered throughout the bootcamp.
